Choose a book or author that is just right for you!
BHMCS Summer Reading is as easy as 1- 2 – 3!
1. Choose THREE “just right” books to read. For ideas, select a title from the list, a different title
written by any of the authors on the list, a Newbery Medal winner, or a book recommended by a
teacher or a librarian. We encourage all incoming 4
th
and 5
th
graders to read a book written by
Andrew Clements, the featured author, as one of the three books.
2. Write the three titles and authors in the box below or on another piece of paper. Also, have your
parent/guardian sign his or her name.
3. Bring your list to school so that you can share your super, sensational, summer reading with other
readers.
