General Guidelines for Applicants
Please note that the application form should be typed neatly using Times New Roman
(12 points). Mark “NA” in columns that are not applicable. The same application form
can also be used by those applying for Librarian positions.
(i) Candidates who have relevant qualifications alone need to apply. Please refer to the UGC
website for understanding the latest qualification norms.
(ii) Candidates who have published works shall submit reprints of their FIVE recent
publications along with their application.
iii) Candidates should enclose attested copies of certificates towards the evidence of age,
educational qualifications, experience etc.
iv) TA will not be paid to candidates called for an interview.
v) No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding postal delays, conduct
and result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview. Canvassing in any
form will disqualify the candidates.
vi) The name of the post applied for must be super-scribed on the envelope without fail.
Hard copy of Completed and signed applications with a cover letter and all the required
