Getting to one of Lake Tahoe’s most popular
beaches is easy.
Operated by Tahoe Transportation District, the East
Shore Express provides a convenient and aordable
way to enjoy a day at Sand Harbor, without dealing
with parking or trac.
Choosing the East Shore Express also helps reduce
congestion on parts of the State Route 28 corridor,
designated as a national scenic byway. Fewer cars
mean better protection of our natural resources, plus
improved bicyclist and pedestrian safety.

All fares are cash only. No change will be given.
Children 4 and under ride free. It’s ok to bring your
coolers & beach chairs. No bikes, kayaks, smoking,
eating, drinking, pets, grills, BBQ’s, or propane/
ammable materials allowed on the bus.

June 30: Service begins at 11:30 following the parade
