To High School: U.S. 22.-FROM NEWARK/UNION AREA: West on Rt. 22 to Scotch Plains
(Blue Star Shopping Center on right). Immediately past the light look for sign for Terrill Rd.
(Sears on left); make right: jughandle across 22. Follow Terrill Rd. for 6 traffic lights to E. 7th
St. Make right onto E. 7th to Park Ave. (4 traffic lights). Make left onto Park; high school is
on right approx. 3 blocks. To Plainfield High Gym: To enter gym proceed past PHS to end of
block. Turn right onto Stelle Ave. Proceed to next right; turn right on Kenyon Ave. - park in
parking area next to gym entrance.
To Hub Stein Field (site of State Parochia l Track Meets): Same directions as above, but go past
high school to the 3rd traffic light which is Randolph Rd. Make left and proceed until you see
tennis courts and stadium on left (2 blocks) across from the Muhlenberg Hospital parking lot.

To Hub Stein Field: U.S. 22.- BRIDGEWATER AND POINTS WEST: route 22 East to Somerset
Street (just past Acme, by Honda dealership-no traffic light, just a sign saying "The
Plainfields-Somerset St. ). Take Somerset Street through North Plainfield. When it crosses
Front Street in Plainfield, street is now called Park Avenue. Take Park Avenue to 9th St. At the
next light past 9th St., make a left on to Randolph Road. Hub Stein Field will be on your left,
opposite Muhlenburg Hospital parking lot.
Junior Boys Tennis @ Milt Campbell Field: Take Route 22 to Terrill Road (Sears store at this
intersection). Take Terrill Road to George Street (2 blocks before North Ave: if you get to Nort h
Ave. you’ve gone too far). Turn right on George Street and go 2 blocks. Turn right on Chelsea.
This will bring you into the park.
To Hub Stein Field: FROM GARDEN STATE PARKWAY: Parkway to Exit 131. At 3rd light
after exiting, turn left onto Oak Tree Road. About 3 miles to Park Ave. Turn right onto Park Ave.
take Park Ave. through S. Plainfield to Hospital. Hospita l is on corner of Park and Randolph
Rd. Turn right onto Randolph. Go up the block and Hub Stine Field is on your left, opposite
Muhlenberg Hospita l parking lot.
To Cedarbrook Park: Same directions as above; go past high school to the next light (Randolph
Rd.); proceed through light to next light which is Pemberton Ave. (nursing home on right);
make right - goes directly into Cedarbrook Park
To Jost Field (S. Pla infield - site of Public Group Track meets): Use 287 South to either Route 22
East or continue on 287 South to South Plainfield/Dunellen exit.
Route 22 East- Continue to Rock Ave exit. Follow Rock Avenue to 7th St. (Piscataway).
Make left at light. Go to next light and make right (Clinton St.). Follow Clinton St. to next
traffic light. Continue straight and follow Plainfield Ave. to Maple Ave.
OR: 287 South- Exit (at S. Plainfield/Dunellen exit) to 2nd traffic light. Make left onto
Washington Ave./Stelton Rd. Follow road to the right to 2nd traffic light. Make right turn
onto Lakeview Drive. Follow Lakeview Drive to 4th traffic light (2nd & 3rd light are one
block apart). Make left, go to next light and make right onto Maple Avenue.
To Tennis Courts: Same directions as to high school. Travel past high school to the 1st traffic
light. Turn left onto Randolph Rd. Travel to courts on your left across from Muhlenberg
Hospital.
