Instructions:
1. Bend the pool noodle ¼ down and tie your twine
tightly around it to keep it in place. Leave the extra
twine hanging for your reins. You have created the
head of the horse!
2. Cut a strip of your felt along the edge about 1
inch thick. Then cut the two ends of it into points.
This is your horse’s ears!
3. Slide the long piece you just cut for the ears
between the bend of the noodle and pull them so
they are sticking straight up. Once you have them
in place, glue the ears in place on the side of the
pool noodle.
4. Using your leftover felt, fold the sheet over and
make little cuts along the edges to make it look like
hair for the mane!
5. Add glue to the back side of the pool noodle
starting behind the ears and place your felt mane
on the noodle.
6. Determine where you’d like to place the horse’s
eyes and glue your googly eyes on the front of the
pool noodle.
7. As a nishing touch, use a sharpie or marker to
draw 2 circles as nostrils on the nose of the horse.
8. Give your horse a name and design your own
jockey silk and head o to race your family and
friends!
