Refund Policy for
Part-time Programs
1. If we cancel a course, all your fees
are totally refunded.
2. If you cannot attend a class that
has been rescheduled to a time or
place other than advertised, you are
entitled to a full refund.
3. If you withdraw from a class
before the rst scheduled class
meeting, a full tuition refund, less a
withdrawal fee of $25, will be made
after the withdrawal* is requested
in writing.
4. If you withdraw after the rst
scheduled class meeting but before
the second class meeting, one-half
of the tuition, less a withdrawal fee
of $25, will be refunded after with-
drawal* is requested in writing.
NOTE: No refunds for any dance
or tness class after the rst class
begins.
5. All extra costs, such as books or
equipment that were not included
in tuition price, are not subject to
refund.
6. We are unable to provide refunds
for requests received after the
second scheduled class meeting.
Waivers may be granted only under
extenuating circumstances which
must be detailed in writing within
ve days of your last day of atten-
dance. If a waiver is granted, it must
be used within one calendar year.
Decisions to grant waivers are the
prerogative of the WS BOCES admin-
istrator whose decision is nal.
7. Any overpayment accepted will be
totally refunded.
8. There is a $25 fee for all returned
checks.
9. Payments made with a credit card
will receive refund credit on their
credit card, however, any refund
made after 120 days will be issued
by WS BOCES check regardless of
how tuition was paid.
NOTE: Every effort is made to pro-
vide a timely refund. Processing
of refunds may take 45 days after
your rst scheduled day of class.
Refunds will be issued by WSBOCES
check or returned to the credit card
used for purchase, if applicable.

CARPENTRY SKILLS – BASIC
If you would like to do basic carpentry projects, this course will give you experience
including using hand and power tools, and become familiar with carpentry
terminology. We encourage all carpentry enthusiasts to begin with this course.

Sonography is a key diagnostic tool for a broad array of medical disciplines. Our 24-month
program focuses on OB/GYN, abdomen, vascular, echocardiography and breast ultrasound
and integrates basic and medical sciences. As a key part of this course, students are placed
in supervised clinical experiences in more than 30 diverse clinical sites spanning multiple
healthcare systems and several independent agencies from Manhattan to Southampton.
Successful completion of the program leads to a certificate that qualifies you to sit for
Diagnostic Medical Sonography registry exams in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular and

Central service is the engine that drives operating and pro-
cedure rooms at hospitals and medical centers and qualied
technicians are critical to its successful function. Central
service technicians prepare the medical equipment and
supplies needed for surgery and medical care. They inspect,
clean, disinfect, sterilize, assemble and store the tools for
the procedures. This program covers each step in the central
service process through classroom and laboratory learning
activities and includes a 400-hour clinical internship at area
hospitals. Students who successfully complete the program
are eligible to take the IAHCSMM certied registered Central
Service Technician exam (CRCST). Prerequisites: High School
Diploma or equivalent.
