ADDING AND EDITING SCHEDULES WITH THE VISUAL SCHEUDULER

are on the Manager Dashboard before continuing.
Click on the Schedules link from the Navigation Bar, making sure you are
looking at the Visual Scheduler tab.

Create / Edit Schedules
New shifts can be added to an employee’s schedule by clicking and drag-
ging across an empty block of time next to the desired employee’s name.
You can also right-click the cursor on an empty block of time to schedule a
new shift.
Existing schedules can be dragged to different times or even a different
day. You can copy a single shift to a new employee by dragging the shift
from one employee to another.
Right-clicking on an existing shift reveals a menu with many additional op-
tions. For example, this is where you can schedule a meal or delete the
shift.
You may choose to duplicate the shift for other days or for other employ-
ee(s). Choose from one of the two options: Dupli-
cate the shift (of the employee you clicked on) to
another day, or duplicate for other employees for
a date range.

Creating Schedule Templates
Schedule templates can be created to assign a group of employees to the
same shift and have that shift automatically regenerate on a specific rota-
tion.
For example, you can create a Morning template (7am to 4pm) and an Af-
ternoon template (1pm to 9pm) and then assign employees as a group to
either or both of these schedules. This allows for a rotation to be setup and
generated automatically without the need to change the schedules every
week.
To create a schedule template, make sure you are on the Schedule Tem-
plate tab under Schedules.

Once your schedule template is created, hit the Assign Employees button
From this window, you may select multiple employees and assign them to a
template within a range. You may also then assign the employees to anoth-
er template for a different range, thus creating a schedule rotation.
If you leave the TO field blank, the template will generate out indefinitely.
